This is a quick and simple card this week.

Colour them in Prisma Pencils, as its easier to create blending in small areas. and die cut or fussy cut them out.

using your makk and oxides create a back ground. Start with the lighter ink, in the centre of stencil.
Then come in with darker towards the egdes.

Mid week blog for Bumbleberrys using MFT stamps Friendship Rocks!!!!!!

Well Hello Crafty Friends,
Today I had the pleasure of playing with my a top favourite stamps company's latest release.
My Favourite Things has done it again, Cute little laddies. All dressed up in the adorable little skater dresses, ready to take the centre stage on your cards.

I teamed this up with the MFT In The Spot Light  stencil
This stamp set has 15 elements to use on it.
As soon as i saw the release I couldn't wait to get my hands on it.
Perfect for young and older ladys as we all like a bit of karaoke, even if it is the privacy  of our own homes. (Blushing)
Right enough about my secrets behind closed doors, lets focus on the step by step this week.

Step one

Stamp out your images, I didn't end up using all the images just the two girls in the middle.
I used MFT's Extreme black inkpad. On to Neenah card stock 80lb.

Step Two

Colour your girls and then place, in the spot light stencil over the top. I mask after as it was a little quicker.

Step Three

Using two shades of Altenew ink in yellow, I worked out where the top of my light ray would be.
Then starting with the darkest ink faded into the lightest ink.

Step Four

I removed the mask and extended the area by following on from the light ray using masking tape. This gave me a wider area, covering both girls.
I then brought in my pencils to build up some shading, using dark yellow and light orange.
I then started on the stage floor. Using cool greys to medium greys to create shadow under the girls.

Step Five

I then stamped and emboss the sentiment, on to black cardstock.
Using white embossing powder from wow.

Step Six

I stamped on some of the star images and coloured them in a silver pen.
Lastly I stamped another sentiment straight under the girls, using black ink.
Framed it in black cardstock then added to a white card blank.

All the supplies can be found at Bumbleberrys, the link is posted at the top of my blog.

Thank you for stopping bye, please leave a comment I'd love to here from you

God Bless

My children are all grown up, so for me its a break from my day job.
As I work in a school.

So with the Sun due to make a return.
I felt I wanted to play with the cute little set from Avery Elle
Sweetest.
This little  set has a great price point and has a  great summer vibe.

This is what I came up with, one of my favourite techniques on building your own backing paper.

Step one
I stamped out the different ice cream stamps, randomly on to a 5.5 inch piece of Neenah cardstock using Memento ink.

Step Two

I used copics to colour them in.

Step Three

I then used my Prisma Pencils, to add more shading and hundred and thousands to the ice lolly.
I also used a white jelly roll pen to add high lights.
Added Nuvo crystal glaze.

Step Four

Stamped and embossed my greeting.
Then before attaching it to my panel, I went around the ice creams with an light aqua marker.
Added it to a 6x6 card blank.

Finished Card

Weekly Blog Post for Bumbleberrys Using MFT, Love Bugs Stamp Set and Grassy Edges Mask.

Well Hello Crafty Friends,
Thank goodness the weather has cooled down. It was getting to much for me, sweating all the time. Hoping I may have lost a little weight with all that water I was perspiring.
So whats in store on this weeks blog, I decided to have a go at a Tri fold Card.
Using the Latest release from MFT, Love Bugs Stamp set https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/love-bugs and the new Grassy Edges Stencil https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/stencil-grassy-edges

Here's the card I made, Simple but effective.

I first took a piece of Neenah card stock. I cut it at 12" x6"
Then I scored it at 4" 8"
This makes a tri fold card.

I then stamped out the images from the stamp set.
I also used the Hedgehog and Tree from Wild Woodlands Stamp set, and the Bee trail from Meant To Bee, both also from MFT.
I enjoyed mixing and matching my stamps. They work well together and double your use, more for your money.
I used the Grassy Edges Mask, and Moved Lawn Distress Oxide. this created the grass at the bottom of my card.

I then used Mini Cloud Edges to create the sky using Tumbled Glass oxide.

Lastly I went to town,  using many different mediums to colour my images. To add dimension I used Nuvo Jewel drops in Clear, and Crushed Grape (on the butterfly wings).
A sprinkle of nuvo glitter on bees wings.

Stamped the sentiments both from the set.
I like the way you can create a whole scene of images, which I feel brings movement.
I hope you enjoyed today's blog, creating a quick and simple Tri- fold card.

Thank you for stopping bye, and take care
God Bless

Playing with Simon Says Stamp Set .... One Cool Pineapple.

Hi there Crafty Friends,
I tought I pop on and show you some stamps i've been loving lately.
Simon Says Stamp are located over the pond, but when you consider P/p its worth the extra.
They do not sell any where but themselves direct. As I know Katrina from Bumbleberrys has tried for us.
This stamp set is 8 x 6 inches

These stamps are so cute, and bang on tread at the moment.
Im seriously in love with them.
I decided to make a set of notelets to have in the office, for that unexpected date or message you need to write.
I simply stamped and coloured in Alcohol markers.
Using a Altenew mini ink cube ( Limestone) to stamp the background.

The Flamingo is definitely my favourite, as I love this quote.

Thats all today focks, I'll be back tomorrow for my weekly blog post for Bumbleberrys. Using MFT Love bugs stamps.
Pop over to my instagram for a sheekey climps.

Take care and God Bless

Weekly Blog Post for Bumbleberrys using My Favourite Things Latest Release Safari Friends and Radiating Halftone Background.

Hi There, Crafty Friends.
Wow what a wonderful summer we are having, but I was very glad to see the rain at the weekend.
We needed things to cool down for a while. But according to the weather guru's its going to be heating up again, as we move towards Friday.
Im feeling better prepared as I have treated myself to a desk fan. As it reach the temperatures previously, that made it impossible to enter the craftroom for more than a few minutes.....
That was not my happy place, to uncomfortable.
The only fan in the house had been fan napped by my youngest daughter.
So that was were some of the craft room budget went.
Oh well enough rambling, its time to get on with this weeks card.
Using the latest MFT Release, Safari Friends.https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/safari-friends I used this in conjunction with the Radiating Halftone background stamp. https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/bg-radiating-halftone-background

This is what I came up with....

First I created the background by using Memento inks in Dandelion, Tangelo, Lady Bug, Bahama Blue and Bamboo Leaves.
I inked each colour and stamped using a Misti stamp tool.https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/original-misti

Then I stamped and colour my images in Polychromos Pencil.

I then Stamped and embossed my sentiment, making it curved by placing it on the acrylic block like a rainbow.

Lasly I placed all my images in to place. Place an acrylic block over the images and sentiment to dry, then added added Nuvo drops in Ripened Pumpkin.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks card. and thank you for stopping by.

Take Care
God Bless
