Friends At First Sip Stamps From MFT..... using alcohol markers to create a cute friends card.

Well Hello Crafty friends,
And A Very Happy New Year.
2019 Wow, how did that happen so fast, I must be getting older,
as the years, seem to be getting shorter.
Oh well this year, I'm going to make a few resolutions, hoping to keep them longer than previous years.

1, Be more productive, with more blogs.
2, Give myself less of a hard time, when not able to fit everything in.
3 ,Me time, instead of saying yes all the time, my work load comes first.
4, Use down time to recharge my batteries by relaxing and pamper session at least once a week.
(this ones going to be hard to keep)

All sounds good lets see how we go.

Anyway your not here to listen to my life story. So here we go......
This weeks project and the first of 2019 is, using MFT Friends At first Sip.
I'm a huge coffee fan, think I may have mentioned this in previous blogs. So this was perfect for me.

There are 6 Sentiments, and some many cute images, 12 to be precise.
I will be using this set, over and over again.

Products
Altenew Enamel dots in, Cool Summer Nights, Red Cosmos,Green Fields. https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/search?q=enamel+dots
(my latest obsession)
MFT Candy Land Paper pack.
Alcohol Markers
Blank Memento Ink pad
White Gelly Roll Pen
6 x 6 Card Blank

Method

Stamp and Colour your images. I use Alcohol markers and Prisma pencils for shading.I tried to match the colours with the patterned paper, to bring the design together.
Then I die cut them out, and started laying with the design and patterned paper.

I decided to play around with the scrap of paper, and cut it in to thinner strips, i then had the idea of off setting it.

I think you will agree, it adds a little something.

I then stamped on my sentiment and added those amazing little Enamel Drops by Altenew.

I did go on to add glossy accents to her bright pink wellies,
Also a white gell pen to add high lights and price to the sign on the coffee stand.

I've got another quick card I made using the MFT Beautiful Blessing stamp 2 set, I am going to change the design a little and give them to family and friends. I am going to emboss the words in a matching gold powder. As I think it will look better, also do it on the right side, as the circle hinge on the card is showing lol.

Well thanks for popping on over, and I wish you all the Craftiness possible for 2019.

Happy Stamping
