Weekly Blog Post for Bumbleberrys...... Using MFT Gillfriends Stamp Set and the Aquarium Die.

Good Morning Crafty Friends,
Its going to be another scorcher today.
As Promised i'm back with some more fishy friends.

This week its the MFT Gillfriends Stamps https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/bb-gill-friends

This is what I came up with using my Zig Real Brush Clean Color Markers.

This quick and simple card is fun to make, here how.

Step One

Using the Aquarium Die cut  out the tank from a 6 x 6 inch square card base. (you could use any card blank)

 Step Two

Cut a Piece of watercolor card stock 4 x 4 inch.

Step Three
Firstly I masked of the bottom section of the watercolor cardstock.
Used Versamark ink pad and embossed using Wow Embossing Powder in Banoffee Pie.
Using a Blender and Broken China, Distress Oxide. I created the sky, using the water drop technique.

Step Four

Out of black cardstock, I cut the top and bottom strips for the aquarium.

Step Five

I then line up the tank in the 6 x 6 blank.
I attached the top and bottom strips to my card.

Step Six

Stamp out my chosen images and colour them using my Zig markers and a water brush.

Step Seven

I die cut them out and attach to the Tank. popping some up, so they appear closer. I then use clear Nuvo drops to create air bumbles.

Step Eight

Finally I stamp the sentiment under the tank, and use Nuvo Crystal Glaze on the roof of the tank.

Thank you for popping by,
God Bless

Weekly Blog Post for Bumbleberrys.....Using Lawn Fawn Reveal wheel and You are Subline Stamps

Well Hello There,
Its that time of the week, when I get to show case, some amazing stamps from the vast collect, Bumbleberrys has in their shop.
This week I got to play with the delightful Reveal Wheel
Also the Reveal Wheel Sentiments.

This is what I came up with.

I have had so much fun putting this together.

First I Cut out the Reveal Wheel from some Lawn Fawn Blue Jay cardstock. https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/blue-jay-cardstock
I had to watch the experts at this on you tube. Go to Lawn Fawn where you will find, the demonstration ( its very east to follow)

Then using the MFT Make Waves Stencil, I used Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide.

Then I stamped out my images, and coloured them using Alcohol Markers.

I then Die cut the images and made a sentiment, by stamping in Versafine Onyx Black on white cardstock.

I arranged on my card, and as you turn the wheel different sentiments appear.

I then added Crystal Glaze to the windows on the submarine, and dots as air bubbles.
(sorry forgot to photo this as it was drying)

I cant wait to send this to someone and know they will have great fun in turning the wheel,
 to reveal some cute sentiments.

I hope you have enjoyed this weeks blog Post.
We will be looking at more fishes next week...... MFT Beach buds and Gill friends.
I look foward to then.
Take care and God Bless

This Weekly Blog For Bumbleberrys...... Using Heffy Doodles Wingman and Prismacolored Pencils.

Well Hello Again Crafty Friends, Thanks for popping over.
Well what an exciting release we had from Lesley Oman at Heffy Doddle.
I could resist the quiry, wingman stamp set. https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/wingman-stamps
Its my brothers birthday this week in fact today so it was the perfect opportunity to use this playful set.
As a big brother hes always looked out for me and the sentiments fit the bill so well.
I not the greatest when it comes to Alcohol markers and blending techniques, so decided to go with my Prismacolor pencils.
This is the card I came up with.

First I took an 8x8 inch card blank. I then randomly stamped the feather images all over to create a back ground.

I stamped out my images, coloured them with aquas and turquoise pencils and die cut them. Added them to some watercolor wishes paper from Lawn Fawn. I had some rainbow clouds left over from previous  project. So I decided to use them.
I used orange card stock to mat and layer and to add Happy Bird-Day sentiment.
Finally I stamped the heart icons in red and Thanks for always being My Wingman words in black. Coloured the perch in sepia brown. I then attached to my card blank and as a final something, something I added little crystals.

It was received and he was most please with it.
bringing  back memories of our Auntys birds, when we were little.
Its funny how things in the present spark a long lost memory from the past.
Thanks Again for popping over.
Hope your enjoying your week no matter what your up to. Remember to grab 10 mins a day to do something creative, its good for mental heath and relaxing the soul.
On that note I'll catch you next week with another, midweek blog.

God Bless

Weekly Blog for Bumbleberrys using MFT All About Dad and Altenew Inks........

Well Hello and Welcome to this weeks blog, Fathers Day is fast approaching
and its a chance to do a masaline card.
If the card you are going to be making, is for a dad that's not a Golfer, Cricket or Football fanatic. Where does that leave you Cars, Boats, or Fishing and Gardening.
Well I think over the years I have sent at least three of the above. So I wanted to try something more contemporary.
I was delighted when My Favourite Things brought out, All about Dad.https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/all-about-dad and coordinating Die- namic die.https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/die-namics-dad

Here's what I came up with using Altenew Inks.

Here how I created it.
First I marked out horizontal lines going across the card one inch apart.

Then I picked three inks from my Altenew inks. Started with the grey I randomly stamped the large DAD on these lines.

Then change the ink colors to a Mint and Lemon, and added them the same way.

Once that was done I mated it on to some black card stock.

I added to a card blank, and trimmed it down to 6.5 inches x 5 inched.

Finally I die Cut the DAD die, in black and Mint Green and off set them to give a back shadow.
Then attached to card.

Finally I added Sentiment on mint cardstock, embossed in white.
Added Nuvo drops in  matching colours and tap underneath to even out the droplet.

I am hoping dad will love it on the 17th June (Sunday)

Thanks For popping over,
Enjoy this beautiful weather we are having.
God Bless
Jo
