Bumbleberrys weekly blog using the latest release from Mama Elephant........ "The Dogs Woof"

Well Hello Crafty Friends,
It's been a busy two weeks in the Summers Household, with the arrival of my Second Grandchild, Our Beautiful Amelia, earlier than planned after a emergency C Section my Daughter gave birth to a Healthy 5 lb 5 oz bundle of Joy. I was on babysitting duties, with my 2 yr old Grandson Leland, so please excuse my absence.Well enough about my personal life lets get back to crafty business.

I have been playing with the adorable  "The Dogs Woof" stamps from Mama Elephant being a huge dog lover and proud owner of Harvey and Bonnie  I love this stamp.

I loved playing with the So many Snowmen, this is the same style. and so incredible funny, cute and adorable rolled in to one.
I simply stamped on to Bristol smooth card stock in my favourite hybrid ink in black,

Then I stamped a mask, and began to add my background using distress ink pads.
I also stamped and masked some of the extra stamps that come in this set.

Once this was finished I then removed the mask and started to water colour my main image in zig real brush markers.

I used a hillside die to create dimension to my design as I had trimmed a piece of the card stock.
I then found a compatible sentiment from Heffy doodle Adorable lions, and stamped and embossed on black card.
I die cut some clouds from silver glitter card from tonic and pulled my design together.

Finished of with a few dots of Nuvo drops in silver.

I hope you enjoyed your visit and please feel free to leave me a message.
God Bless

Weekly Post using the latest release from Lawn Fawn, How you been? Conversation Heart add on.

Well hello, Crafty Friends,
How exciting all the new releases this month, from over the pond, all the January releases have been so exciting. I cant wait for payday to add to my crafty stash. The most exciting news at Bumbleberrys is the arrival of Honey Bee Stamps. No more disappointment, that I can't get my hands on them. The boss Katrina Rudd has come up trumps!!!! So chuffed.  I did a happy dance when she announce we would be stocking them at Bumbleberrys!
Well enough chat, what have I been up to in the craft room. This month is birthday x3 in our house. But I couldn't  resist a play with the How you bean add on Conversational Hearts.I already had the jar from the How you bean. So I could wait to get the add on for valentines. https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/collections/new-releases/products/how-you-bean-conversation-heart-add-on

Firstly I sorted out some pastel prisma pencils, and stamped out the jar, hearts and lid.

Then I created a few masks buy using the post it note technique.

Then I stamp out the sayings on to my hearts, pulled out lawn fawn papers, die cut some vellum with the jar die cut. and assembled my card.

I stamped out the sentiment and made a tag and attached it using lawn fawn twine. and finished by stamping hearts, and happy heart day in lawn fawn (Wild Rose) ink.

I love the way the vellum softens, the colours and encloses them in the jar.

So now its back to making birthday cards for the family,  as they don't read my blog, I can show you one ive made using the MFT mermaid stamps. https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/bb-mermazing

Thank you for popping over, I love to read your comments.
God Bless and
Happy Crafting

Weekly Blog for Bumbleberrys with a difference! 3 cards...... using Lawn Fawn and Mama Elephant.

Hi There crafty Friends,
Firstly I cant stop playing with my holiday stamps, I don't want to stop playing as the thought that Christmas is over is, not good. I love the Mama Elephants, So Many Snowman, https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/so-many-snowmen but then again Christmas will be here again this year. So i'm ahead of the game. These snowmen just make me smile...... just so cute.

Simply stamped in Memento Black ink and coloured in alcohol pens, then backed on to a light blue card blank and then using nuvo drops in white just to add snow.
I think I may mass produce this one for December this year. such a quick card.

Back to my favourite stamps from the last Lawn Fawn release just to show their not just for the holidays as its name suggests.
Card one is perfect for valentines, or just to tell someone you love them.

Using Distress Oxides to build the back ground and water splat technique. Trees are from another Christmas lawn fawn set. Then I simply drew a bow on one of the bears to create a girl bear. I use the Memento pen in black which is safe, smudge resistant to alcohol markers.

Card Two A perfect little card to send Best Fishes (wishes) to people for any occasion. so as you see a good all rounder stamp set.
Created using watercolour lawn fawn backing paper. border dies and images coloured, with Prisma colour pencils. Finished using Nuvo drops to create water splashes.
I hope ive inspired you to dig out some of your holiday stamps and adapt them to work for things other than Christmas.
Thank you for visiting my blog
God Bless

Weekly Blog post for Bumbleberrys using Lawn Fawn Beary Happy Holidays.

Hi There Crafty Friends,
Firstly  I like to wish you all A Very Happy New Year!!!
I wonder what amazing crafty goodness will be released this year.
I just have to share another card using my favourite little bear set at the mo, Lawn Fawns Beary Happy Holidayshttps://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/beary-happy-holidays  and this week ive used a masking, technique using post it notes.

This idea popped in to my head, as I wanted my bears to be in a Rainbow of colours.
I stamp the bear image on a post it note, and then took 5 sheets off, cut around the top one and hey presto!!! 5 masks as easy as that.
Then I stamped each bear and covered it up
to stamp the next to create a crowd of bears.
Coloured them with alcohol pens.
Added a die cut umbrella, then a sentiment, the finally I added Nuvo drops.

I hope you enjoyed this new take on a holiday theme stamp set, and see how you can use it
after Christmas.

God Bless
