Hi there, My Friends and Customers, 2014 is nearly over and I know Ive promised time and time again. But I am really ready for it this year. Going to get out there promote me and my crafty abilities(my style) and let the world know who Daisy D's Are and Who Jo Summers is, and maybe just maybe our be right for a company, Sales Team or Editor to use for their work. Its in Gods hands in which I am a firm believer.

What ive been up to lately

Hi there, well its a bit mad around here at the mo, redecorating the bedrooms and having a huge clearout. but theres always time to pop in to the craftroom and play.

From invit's to Teacher cards, Craftfairs and bits and bobs along the way.

Time to get back to the day job.

After a lovely couple of weeks off, its back to business as normal. Wedding cards, Birthdays, and Engagement candles......... I enjoyed my break but, was itching to come back and create some beautiful bits and pieces. In our industry you are always picking up new tec's and my favourite queen of tec is Jennifer McQuire, from the usa. Plus i adore her craftroom its simply stunning.I was hoping to show some pics of my work that had been inspired by her but my camera is just not playing ball this morning.

So much to write and so little time, ok then i'll begin. New wooden words and items, ok maybe i'll just show you in pictures much easyier. As we could be here for sometime. lol

I know I havnt been on even though I promised but moved round the craft room yet again, but it finally funtions as i wish. so with out boring you anymore, i'm back on track!

Feburary all ready.......Valentines is round the corner.

Time to get serious with this blog....... no more slacking!

After following some of my fellow crafters and seing there amazing blogs everyday. I have to start kicking my butt in to gear. Finding time is an issue, but enough of the excuses, I promise at least once a week to show you what is going on in the World of Daisy D's, which was named after on of my great mentors in life my Nannys. Nanny L who was the Original Daisy D, and Nanny E. They both realy were the inspiration in my world as a child, I spent most of my childhood around them, so my Crafty side came from my Nanny E who could make anything out of paper and card.She used to say "youve got more Pens and Pencils than WHSmiths", if only she could see my craftroom now!!!!! I think she be shocked, but what made me laugh as a child is she had a cubboard full herself!!!!I loved her neat handwritting, and the fact she was so tidy and everything had a home. As for Nanny L she has given me the legacy of Loving with all your Heart and being a Business Woman even if we can be a little soft at times, unfortunatly she passed when I was 14 years old but, After spending every night after school and weekends with her I picked up a few of her ways some good and some bad..... but thats another story. so as you can see this is were it all began.I thank God for them both even though there no longer here I hope ive made them proud.
