Cut one set of arms to fit to the back in a cris cross design.

Taking the Oceanside inkpad direct to the cardstock, colour it but brushing the inkpad over it. This method is called ink to paper. Then die cut one more frame and add it to the rest.

Using a 5" x 5" card blank. Ink up your stamp and stamp it off on scrap paper then without reinking stamp on to the card blank. Repeat this 3 times over lapping each time.

Do the same process with the spot stamp. This gives a lighter look know as Second Generation Stamping

Add Jewels to the frame. Then while they are drying add your sentiment, in black ink.

Lastly add some Novo drops in gloss black. Add glossy accents to the lens.

I hope you enjoyed this weeks blog.

What Do You, With all those Backgrounds and Scraps....................... We All Need Tags For Birthdays, Thank you 's and Little Gifts.

Good Morning Crafty Friends, I do hope your staying well.
I love making backgrounds but sometimes they mount up and I don't want to make a big project, or I only like a certain part of the background. I had received a Gell Press for Christmas, SO I HAD PLENTY TO CHOOSE FROM.
Well with Christmas over and a year of birthdays coming up, I decided to make some tags, for all those little gifts I will be sending.

Here's a small collection I made.

 Products

Any Scraps, Back Grounds etc.....

Altenew Holiday Tags Stamps

Altenew Holiday Die Set
or
Alternative Tag Dies

Ink Pad for (stamping sentiments)

Ribbon and  Twine

Method
Gather your scraps, and die cut all your favourite parts, out of them using the die set.
Choose Sentiments, and stamp on them front and back, or leave them plain until you need them.
Add some ribbon or twine though the the hole and tie a knot.

Another Idea
I thought was to mount them on to a card blank.

Some times if we remove the part we don't like, we can fall in love with our work in a different way.

I couldn't believe how many sentiments were included in the co ordinating stamp set.

I hope you've enjoyed todays blog hop, I be back next week a the same time with another
project to share.

Happy Stamping

 Well Hello,

How are we doing?

I found with the lock down at present in the uk, I'm able to spend a lot more time sorting out and crafting in my craft room.

I will  be doing a video shortly on storage and items, you can use to house your crafty stash.

Well, back to today, and those adorable sloths by MFT.

Waffle Flower Slim Window Trio Die

https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/collections/waffle-flower/products/slimline-window-trio-die?variant=33157505187922

Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch, and Seedless Preserve)

Neenah 80 lb or 110 lb card stock

Card Black 8 1/2 x 7" scored at 3 1/2"

Polychromos Pencils (Any Pencils)

White Gouche Paint ( for splats)

Lawn Fawn Liquid Star Dust

Glossy Accents

Nuvo Glitter Drops  (Aquatic Mist, Purple Rain)

Gelly Roll Pen in White

Embossing Powder (White for Sentiment)

Method

First I die cut my front panel, using the waffle flower trio die.

I used purple tape on the back, to hold the panels in place why I blended.

Then using my waffle flower blending mat, I blended my colours.

I started with the Tumbled Glass first.

Added some liquid Star Dust, and White Gouche Paint.

I left this to one side to dry.

Next I stamped out my images, in black ink.

Coloured the images using my pencils, added highlights with gell roll pen.

Then I fussy cut them out.

To assemble my card I used double sided tape. I applied  the back of my window panel.

Before this I should have stamped and embossed my sentiment, but forgot. This then made it tricky at the end.
I added the panel to a card blank 8 1/2" x 7" scored at 31/2"

Then I glued and popped in my inside panels with no dimension, so they sat flush inside the frame.

After I was happy with were my sloths were positioned I added them using double sided foam tape.

Then it was on to embellishing and sentiment.

Here is the final card.

I hope you enjoyed todays blog,

Happy Stamping

New Baby Cards Using The Incredibly Cute ,I'll Love You For Ever Stamps by MFT.

Well Happy New Year, Crafty Friends,

Looking Forward to what 2021 has in store for us. After a difficult 2020, we face this new year as a fresh beginning.

First on the card makers agenda is Valentines, letting our love ones know we love them.

Our children our always close to our hearts and after seeing  MFT, latest release I fell in love with I'll Love You Forever Stamp Set, designed by Birdie Brown, who as you may or may not know is my favourite illustrator.

These are primely designed to welcome a new baby, but I just love them as cards for our children. I notice a brilliant sentiment saying "whatever dreams I had for you , YOUVE BLOWN THEM ALL AWAY"

Great for an encouragement card.

So what did I do,

I got carried away and ended up with three cards, I just loved the images so much.
