Altenew Sunburst Stencil and My Favourite Things Beautiful Blessings Collaboration....

Well Hello There Crafty Friends,

Things in the craft room are rather glittery at the moment.
With just over 13 days to go until the big day.
I am a true lover of Christmas, and to me its more about the birth of Christ. So for my very last Christmas cards this year.
I wanted to have some cards that celebrated that fact.

When MFT released their Beautiful Blessings Stamp set, I was over the moon. It has a beautiful font and so many lovely sentiments, not only for Christmas. In fact only one sentiments was relevant to Christmas. the rest are more support themed.
So enough of my reasons for why I am loving this set, this is what I managed to create.

Products
Copper, Nuvo drops, Peel offs, Mirror card and Embossing powder.
Distress oxide in Hickory Smoke
Neenah card stock 80lb
6 x 6 card blank.

Method

Place the stencil on to the 6x6 card blank. Then blend over the stencil, with Distress Oxide.

Stamp sentiment randomly, in a medium grey ink.

Die cut out the heart die, in the copper mirror card stock.

I finished off the card with a few Nuvo drops, some copper peel off strips and sequins.

I then went on to make two other cards, changing the verse on one. Both using the same products.
I loved using copper wow embossing powder, on my sentiment. I become a huge rose gold/ copper fan this Christmas.

Thank you for popping over to the blog.
I'll be back next week with something different.

Happy Stamping

Adding Dimension To Your Cards using Liquid Applique, featuring Warm and Feather Hugs by MFT.

Well Hello There,
its that time of the week again. When I get to jump on the Bumbleberry blog.
What have I been up to in the craft room this week.
Well after the cute, Sweet Holiday Penguins.
I had to show case the even more cute owls,
in Warm and Feathered Hugs. By MFT

I wanted to create a texture to my snow, as one of the images is on a sleight. Then I remember that we used to use Liquid Applique or Fluffy Puffy Stuff as it is now renamed. You apply it to your card and activate it using your heat gun. As you heat it puffs. Leaving a very snow like affect.

I came up with two card as I got carried away in stamping and colouring.

Products
Stamps Warm and Feather hugs by MFT (linked above)
Memento Summer Sky ink and Tuxedo Black,(bumbleberrys)
Altenew Caribbean Sky Ink Cube (bumbleberrys)
Lawn Fawn Doe Ink Cube (bumbleberrys)
(any inks would work)
alcohol markers and pencils
Drift and Hills stencil by MFT (bumbleberrys)
Liquid Applique (on Line)
Neenah 80 lb card Stock (bumbleberrys)
6 inch Squared card blank

First I Stamped and Coloured my images.

Then I prepared my card blank by creating snow hills.

I then used the Altenew ink, to add the snow flake images and Sentiment.

I then add the tree's with Lawn Fawn Doe ink cube.

I added my images that had been die cut.

Then I added the Liquid Applique to build up the snow, then heat it to get it to puff up.
The Heat activates the product. As I mentioned at the top of this post. Great fun little addition to your crafty stash at this time of year.

I Cut my pattern paper at 5,5 so to leave a white border on my card.

Next i die cut my images ad my cloud. i arrange on to my card and add Nuvo Drops.

Hi there, Crafty Friends,

I've been playing with my Altnew water colour paints and decided to create a bauble card.

Products
Happy Llamadays MFT stamps https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/happy-llamadays
Altnew Water Colour Palette https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/collections/pens-and-markers/products/watercolor-36-pan-set
Candyland Paper Pad from MFT.
Circle die or similar to create bauble.
Black Card Stock.
White embossing powder.
Nuvo Glitter drops in Blizzard

Method
Firstly draw round a circle die, add a bauble shape to the top.
Mask around the circle and stamp images.
I added a sentiment but later cover it up.

Choose your paper back ground.

When it comes to picking your colour's for your images, I used ones similar to ones in the backing paper.

I water coloured the image, I notice these Altnew Water colour, are lovely and creamy. You only need a bit on you brush.

When dry, add to your backing paper which has been mounted on to a 6" x 6"
with sticky pads.
I punched a hole into the top, and add a piece of white ribbon.
Add sentiment that has been embossed in white onto black card stock.

 After I finished.
I decided to create a snow hill by die cutting circle. Then cutting in to it.
I then added the Nuvo drops all over to add the sparkle.

Thank you for popping over,
Happy Stamping

My Favourite Things Secret Santa Stamps and Candy Land Paper Pack.

Good Morning what a chilly start it is this morning.but tomorrow will be the first of November and the trees are still green with a slight hint of orange.
So really its mild for this time of year.
This weeks blog from me is carrying on the Christmas card theme.
I have used the Secret Santa stamps from MFT
and the candy land paper pack also from MFT.

firstly I stamped out the girl and boy as they were going to be in the front of my picture.

I then stamped them on to masking paper.
and cut out the masks.

I then masked of the girl and began to add the tree and presents.

I then masked of the presents and built up more presents around her.

I then masked the boy and did the same.

This was then cut out and I chose a background paper from the candy land paper pack and some pink card stock from Bazzil.

I added foam tape to the back of the scene.

I then attached the paper as it was the wallpaper behind.

This was trimmed to 5 and a half inches squared.
and mounted on to  a 6" x 6" card blank.

I added a strip of Altenew washing tape in gold between the paper and card to give the look of a skirting board.
I chose colours that matched the backing paper. I coloured my images.

Using Extra thick double sided foam I made the two out side edges higher to give a 3D effect.

I stamped on to black card my sentiment and embossed in white detail embossing powder.
Cut this out and slipped it into the spaces between my image. i made a little slit by the brown parcel to hold one side of the sentiment.

I then made a clock out of a punch and black card stock and added Nuvo drops to finish.

This cute image is perfect for a Christmas card for young ones. it reminds me of my Grandchildren.
thanks for popping on over to the blog.
Next week I will playing with more from the latest MFT release.
Happy Stamping
