New Year, New Beginning's With Waffle Flower

Well Hello and Welcome, to my last blog of 2021.

I am a huge fan of a stamp or die that creates a scene. So when I saw a stencil that did the same with a lower price point I had to give it a go.

This is what I came up with.

Products
New Beginnings Stencil (Waffle Flower)
Ink Pads (MFT) in Red Hot, Butterscotch, Lemon Chiffon, Summer Splash, Tropical Teal, Eiffel Tower.
Neenah 110lb Card
C6 Card Blank
Blending Brushes (Waffle Flower)
Masking Paper
Perfect Pearls
White Paint for Splats
Sprinkles Shimmering Circles (Little Things From Lucy's Cards)

Method

Mask off anything other than the sun and its rays

Then using the Lemon Chiffon inkpad and Blender Brushes blend on the colour.

Then blend in the Red Hot and Butter Scotch

Remove the mask and replace over the sun, then blend in the water, Summer Splash.

Line up the mask of the reflection, not the stencil. I used some reposition tape runner to hold it in place. I then came in with a darker colour Tropical Teal.

I then blended around the rays to add the look of sky. (Optional)

Using my altenew Detailed Brush and Eiffel Tower ink I added in the birds.

To add some white splats and water ,I placed some kitchen towel over the sun.

Lastly I stamped my sentiments in Versafine Onyx Inkpad.

I added a few little gems and white highlights on the birds wings with a, white Jelly Roll Pen.

I really enjoyed working with this stencil.

Wishing You All A Very Merry Christmas and A Crafty New Year!
love
