Good Morning
This week I am showing you a different way of using your stencils. As I usually use my ink pads and blender brushes, I wanted to give things a shake up. If like me you have loads of sprays sitting around doing nothing they are fantastic for using with your stencils.

Method
Firstly using a splat box I spay Black Soot on to the stencil, a piece of Neenah card stock was place under the stencil.
Once sprayed Ileft it for a few minutes then place a piece of kitchen paper over the top to soak up excess ink spray.
Using tweezers I gently removed the stencil. Then I removed my cardstock to blast it with a heat gun, on a low heat. This speeds up the drying time.
I then lined up the stencil which has a duo effect so you can cover your first coloured stars. Then I used Cracked Pistachio, then again removed and dried.
Lastly I popped it back in to the splat box (No Stencil) and sprayed over the top with Picked Raspberry.
I tried a few more colour combinations, and loved the different affects. Some where very suprising.
Finally I scrunched up some kitchen paper and dabbed on the Tarnished Brass Spray. (Spray on to a worksurface and dab it up)
Once these were fully dry I added them to my card blanks.
Next I stamped and Heat Embossed my sentiments. I used detailed white embossing powder.
I love how quick and simple these came together.
I'm not one for mess, but this technique keeps you in control of where your sprays are going. Lastly I forgot to mention I added some sprinkle stars.
Happy Paper Crafting
