Christmas Is Coming So lets Play With These New Lawn Fawn Stamps and Dies........Christmas Dreams.

Well Hello Again Crafty Friends,
I know it seems to come around quicker ever year, but in 90 Days, just over 12 weeks and for crafty people that's not that long.Christmas will be upon us. So I have been playing with a stamp set from Lawn Fawns Newest release, Christmas Dreams https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/collections/new-releases/products/christmas-dreams and the New Die Shut The Front Door https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/collections/new-releases/products/shut-the-front-door-dies there is also a wreath that can go on the front door. https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/collections/new-releases/products/mini-wreath-dies This is on my wish list for sure.
First I covered the card blank and cut out the door die, then using another piece of card stock in brown I cut the door die again then fitted it in to place.

There is also a cat and a fish to go in the dream bubble, and some adorable accessories.
I have loved playing with this set no end, Next week I will be changing things up a bit and adding in a quick Halloween card,
Hope you like this design,

More Fun with Wild Woodland Stamps by MFT and Alcohol Markers........ With Love From Owl of Us.......

Good Morning Crafty Friends,
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods,
This weeks Blog I have been playing again with the fantastic Wild Woodland stamp set, By MFT.https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/wild-woodland

This cute little owl image had me super excited, also I need to make a leaving card. As an owl is a bird, and I thought that bird is another word for woman,( I work with approx 20 women). This would be a fun twist on the usual leaving cards.
So Firstly I marked out some lines using my T ruler. Then stamped the owl image in, Memento black ink,in fours on each row.

Then I picked 3 colours that complemented each other, I coloured my images using my alcohol pens.
Secondly I Stamp out the sentiment in the set on black card in versa mark ink pad. I then embossed in white embossing powder. Then I used Foam tape to attach it to the card.

Last but not lease I added goggle eyes to the owls and put stitching around the card.

I'm hoping this card will be well received by the recipient.

next weeks blog we will be going a little Christmasy, as I make a interactive card from lawn Fawn Stamps.
Take Care and God Bless

The Latest Release From MFT, Wild Woodland Stamps and Water Colouring with Distress Oxides.

Well Hello Crafty Friends,
Hope your all having a good week so far. I'ts Wednesday so my turn to blog. I'm so lucky, I have a job I love. Getting a stamp set from the latest MFT September launch, fills me with excitement. I had my eye on this cute little set, and as soon as my DT parcel arrived, I couldn't wait to get crafting. Housework had to go on the back burner, and as I work part time, and had finish for the day nothing could stop me. I hurried off to my craft room to, play with the adorable Wild Woodland Stamp set. https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/wild-woodland using my distress oxides as a pallet of water colours I got to work.

Firstly I stamped out all the images and coloured them in Alcohol markers. Then cut them out. Next I started on the background, using a waterproof ink pad, My Favourite Things, Hybrid ink in black licorice, I randomly stamped out the tree's.Then filled in the gapes using the acorn image in walnut stain (distress oxide)
Then using a piece of laminated card I stamped my oxides to create a pallet. Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, Peeled Paint, Vintage photo, Walnut Stain. I coloured in the background, to create a chalky finish. Then I  added the images I had stamped and finally added the cute sentiment.

I also made this little card,as I had missed a friends birthday, recently and there was a perfect sentiment in the set.

I know I'm going to be reaching time and time again for this beautiful stamp set.

Hope you enjoyed today's blog.
God Bless

So what else have I been up to........

Hi there thanks for popping bye,
I have been playing with these cute little stamps from Clearly Besotted. My first love is Rubber Stamping, followed by Die cutting.
All though I am also an avid Scrapbooker. I could not resist these little Piggy's.

I decided to make a set of 6 little cards, Just in case I need a quick card.

Also I finally got to attend Craftsulove 11th Birthday event in August. where a few of my favourite designers were demoing. Katie Skilton from Sizzix and Paula Pascual. Also I finally got to meet Stamping Caz whom, I have admired her work for many years. (Craft royalty) I have shopped with Craftsulove, for about 10yrs, and never dreamed I would one day visit.
As I don't drive, but my crafty buddy Kim, offered to take me. As she fancied having a look at the shop and catch up with our dear friend Katie Skilton. Well we call her a friend, she probably thinks we are storkers. I love her style and Katie s die range, I got to chat with her after visiting her home town, on holiday not realising she lived there and visit a beautiful coffee shop her friend owned. After that we seem to bump in to her at various crafty events, she is a real gem.

Unfortunately I decided to make a plum of myself falling over and cutting my knee.
I have to say I felt like a complete wolly. The care from the owner of craftsulove was so sweet, first aid was excellent. My new trousers were more damaged than myself. But the old pride did take a knock.

After a good spend up, we headed home. I had had a lovely day seeing lots of new products and will definitely returning. Paula who run's Craftulove is a very lovely lady and the shop is an amazing Aladdin's cave.

Crafty Hugs and God Bless

Wednesday Blog for Bumbleberrys using MFT Fierce Friends,Alcohol Markers, and Dies.

Well Hi there, Crafty Peeps,
Its the start of a new school year. A fresh beginning for many off the children going back to class.
Also as i'm writing this blog, MFT have just released the September collection, so much gorgeousness. I'm sure the Boss will have most of the release, going up in the shop. But before we start exploring the new release i'm sticking to a true favourite of the design teams, which is the amazing cute tigers from Fierce Friends teamed up with a sentiment from Jungle gym. They work so well together as the tiger image is on both.  https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/fierce-friends

This card was created simply bye stamping and colouring images with Alcohol Markers, then cut them out.
I then die cut some leaf shapes to create a forest or jungle look.
Then using white embossing on the same green card stock to the leaves, I stamped my sentiments.

I have a real love for these beautiful little tigers, as my son is in the Army, serving with the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment also known as The Tigers.
Also the Tigers are seen as a sign of courage, and determination. But they are just so cute regardless of any other reason.
Hope you have a good week and God Bless
Jo
