Good Afternoon Crafty Friends,
I've been a bit naughty lately, playing with a new crafty toy. A Scan and Cut, and I nearly forgot my blog. I had made a beautiful quick little card and thought it was Tuesday not Wednesday, due to the Bank holiday.Oh well better late then never...... lol.

This is the new die from Lawn Fawn called Shut The Front Door. it also comes with Step dies, mat dies, handle and Panel die.The door its self is scored so the door opens. https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/collections/lawn-fawn/products/shut-the-front-door-dies
This die is very versatile for any theme, There is also a wreath in their latest release that go's on the door. Perfect for Christmas. I teamed it up with our adorable Happy Hippos from MFT.

Well Hi There, Crafty Friends,
Boy am I fed up with the lack of Sunshine.Yes the positive is i'm at home and in the crafty space, which is fantastic. But i'm wearing a long sleeve turtle neck. Hello its August and i'm freezing. Also Jacket potatoes and soup. I got a great little tan in July and now its fading. Oh well enough of my rambling.Back to creative life......
You Make Me happy was an idea I came up by combining two sets of stamps
.All about you,
https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/all-about-you?variant=44532832842
and Jungle Gym
 https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/jungle-gym

Firstly, I stamped the image then masked it off, Then I stamp the Large YOU over the top in altnew ink. I then removed the mask.  I coloured my images, and embellished the card once I had mat it on to an orange card background.

These are the ink and Nuvo drops I used. I enjoyed using more than one stamp set and creating a different look.
Thanks For stopping bye,
 God Bless

Wednesday Blog for Bumbleberrys using the adorable MFT Happy Hippos

Wow where is the holidays going, I cant believe its been a week since my last blog.Well I couldn't resist, bringing out the adorable hippos again, I really love these cute little stamps.

I decided to try a masking technique. Where I stamped one hippo and masked it. Then carry on stamping the next Hippo in the line.

I carried on then, added balloons and birdies. After that I stamped a sentiment on black card in versa mark, and embossed in detailed white powder.

I then decided on the colours of alcohol pens, using my colour wheel. Using complementary colours and Tri-complementary to add harmony in the colours.

Thank you for popping bye, please leave a comment, I love ready all your comments. I also love any questions regarding rubber stamping or paper crafting.
God Bless

Wednesday Blog Post for Bumbleberrys using MFT Jungle Gym

Good Morning Crafty Friends,
Firstly who's stole the sun. Before end of term it was scorching heat in the playground. But it seems to have vanished aboard, as they seem to be having a heat wave. With temperatures in the 40's and we are reaching for are cardigans and macs. Typical, poor children stuck in doors and frustrated parents. I'm praying for a bit of sun to warm us up!
Well enough of my weekly rant, down to the other sunshine in my life which is my Grandson (Leland) who is 2 today. He puts a smile on my face no matter what, the weather outside.
Also its my turn to showcase one of the many beautiful stamp sets we currently have in stock at Bumbleberrys. Today card was created using the mft, so cute set Jungle Gym, https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/jungle-gym .

This card was Stamped in Versa-fine black ink and embossed in clear powder.

Then i masked to my chopping board, and using Zig Clean Color real brush markers.
I began adding the blue sky back ground.

Followed by the leaves and tiger.
The trick is use a little bit of colour and drag it out with your water brush. Or if you prefer a paint brush and water pot.when painting an area let it dry, move on to a part of the design which is not connected, to avoid cross contamination of colours.

Lastly stamp your sentiment on to a black piece of card and emboss in white embossing powder.
then mount card on to black card to form a frame.
Then I added clear nuvo drops to finish this clean looking design.

Hope you've enjoyed my blog today, I would love to read your comments, as I find them inspiring!
God Bless

Wednesday Blog for Bumbleberrys, Using More Wonderful Stamps from MFT Smitten Kitten.

Hi Crafty Friends,
I hope your enjoying the Summer Holidays, and the kiddy winks are sending you bonkers yet! Mine are all grown up now, so its not like it used to be when the were small. Endless days of entertaining and activities. The sound of "I'm Bored ringing in your ears" Now i'm making the most of six wonderful weeks of relaxing and catching up, before I return to work, to be greeting with over 800 little faces and exhausted parents. So with crafting a top priority its been a pleasure as always to be asked to come up with a card using the delightful Smitten Kitten Stamps by MFT. https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/products/smitten-kitten

Firstly I drew a straight line using my T ruler.

Then evenly stamped out the images, using a Misti. But you could also use acrylic block.

I then removed the pencil line once they had dried. Then using my Prismacolor pencils I started, shading the cats.

This was the end result, I had a lot of fun using different mediums and adding details. I love to see how many items I have in the same or similar colour. I stamped two different sentiments in the set and enjoyed creating a border affect in the middle of the card blank.

Using Distress Pens I added texture to the fur. I also used a stylus tool and mini ink pads to create more texture to the nose area. In the form of grey dots.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I love to here any comments from you. Also never be shy to ask me a question. I'm more than happy to help.
God Bless
Jo x
