Three Ways To Achieve Fussy Cutting Without the Fuss. Using MFT Double The Fun Stamps.

Hi There Crafty Friends,

I hope your all staying well. 

If like me, your not a fan of fussy cutting. I've come up with a few, ways of cheating, winging it, what ever you like to call it. 

Let me explain.

When images of animals contain tails, ears , or feet. It can be impossible to fussy cut them. I have three ways of getting around this problem. 

1. Stamp down the animal image directly on your card, then stamp the image  on a separate piece of card stock.

Colour the body of your animal cut it out and lay it directly over your image on your card.( I used this technique on the elephant.

2. I stamped my image and instead of trying to cut out all the intricate parts, I cut around the whole image. I then used a blending tool to add the colours with a blending brush to match my card.    ( I used this on the Giraffe's)

 3, My last tip, is once you have cut out an image go around it with a perm black pen.I use an alcohol marker. This removes any white and makes your cutting look sharper and even. ( I used this on the Ark.)

 I hope ive helped, you to see we don't have to be perfect at fussy cutting.

I'm not going to post the method today as it is just stamping, colouring and cutting out the images. I used the mini cloud stencil and Tumbled Glass Oxide for the sky. Antique Linen for the sand, and lastly Salty Ocean for the sea. I used a blending brush to achieve the look.
