Creating A Softer Look To Our Cards Using Pencils, Featuring MFT Unicorns and Glitter.

Well Hello Crafty Friends,
I'm looking on the bright side at the moment, Having to be self isolated has given me, the perfect excuse to retreat to my craft room.
Where the last 15yrs of crafty purchases, are getting used. I can finally justify, all those fantastic stamps, cardstock, dies, and inks......
I understand we are all making adjustments, all of use at Bumbleberry wish you all the very best.
Right enough about the drama, and on to the serious business of card making.
Today's card features the beautiful stamp set by Birdie Brown call Unicorns and Glitter.

Products
My Favorite Things Stamps BB Unicorns and Glitter
Cordinating Die
Neenah 80lb Card Stock
Black Card Stock
Gold Mirror Card Stock
White Embossing Powder
Memento Ink in London Fog (any grey ink pad)
Pencils in Pastel Colors ( I used Polychromos by Faber Castell)
Sparkle Gelly Roll Pen
6 x 6 Card Blank

Method
Firstly I cut some neenah card stock down to 5.5 x 5.5 inches.
Then I picked some images from the stamp, and randomly stamped them on to the card stock.

Then taking my pencils I little colored them with pastel tones for a softer look.

Next I stamped out my main image on to another piece of card stock and also colored that using the same pencils.

I then die cut them out.

Next I cut a piece of black card to 3 x 3 1/2 inches.
also to add a bit of bling, by adding a gold layer behind the black, approx 0.1 inch bigger.
and attached my images with mounting tape.

I stamped and embossed my sentiment in white embossing powder on to black card stock, also remembering the gold card stock behind to tie the card together.
Finally I added this to my card blank and my card was complete.
I think this makes a simple pretty card.

Happy Stamping
Jo
