Home For The Holidays Stacks Dies from Concord & 9th

 Hello and Welcome

I am very much into the "Christmas Vibe" at the moment. I like to get ahead, so that all the cards are made well in advance.

Today's card is great to mass produce as you can die cut many houses out of many different cardstocks and add on or more to your project.

(These were left over in my stash from another design so I added them on.)

Cardstock in

Midnight, Evergreen, Cranberry, and Stardust  (Concord & 9th)

Ink Pads in

Midnight, Oceanside, Cranberry, Aqua Sky  (Concord & 9th)

Sparkle Pen (Spectrum Noir)

5 x 7" Card Blank

Method

Firstly take your card blank and set it down ready to work on. Then rip a piece of copy paper to create snow drifts (tiny hill's)

I started with the aqua ink for the snow drifts and moved up the card. Once at the top I add the Oceanside ink to the card edge. Bring in the darker tone I used the Midnight ink colour for the night sky.

Using the lighter ink the aqua i stamp the dotty pattern with first and second generation ink to create snow.

The last stage of the background was a sparkle pen which I flicked over the snow drives focussing on the top of the card more.

This was then left to dry why I die cut the houses, Tree's etc...

Then I stuck all the pieces together to form each house.

I then added everything to the card to make up the scene.
I also made the sentiment border I stamped it in the same midnight ink to tie everything together.

I hope you enjoyed todays blog post.
Happy Paper Crafting
