Enjoy The little Things In Life with Honey Bee Stamps and Stencils.

Hello Crafty Friends its Jo here,
popping on over from jo-annescreations@blogspot.com.
Well there's less than week to go, so I thought my card this week would, sum up what its all about.
Enjoying the little things, Family, Friends, Heath, being together. These are far more important than what we give or receive.
To be blessed enough to be surrounded by love ones.
I always think how we are all not, as fortunate and if someone in our neighbour hood is spending alone.
I like to pop on over with a card and a box of chocolates and just wish them a Merry Christmas.

So today's card and the last one from me this year. Is  made using the Honey Bee's, stamps and stencils.

Altenew Sunburst Stencil and My Favourite Things Beautiful Blessings Collaboration....

Well Hello There Crafty Friends,

Things in the craft room are rather glittery at the moment.
With just over 13 days to go until the big day.
I am a true lover of Christmas, and to me its more about the birth of Christ. So for my very last Christmas cards this year.
I wanted to have some cards that celebrated that fact.

When MFT released their Beautiful Blessings Stamp set, I was over the moon. It has a beautiful font and so many lovely sentiments, not only for Christmas. In fact only one sentiments was relevant to Christmas. the rest are more support themed.
So enough of my reasons for why I am loving this set, this is what I managed to create.

Products
Copper, Nuvo drops, Peel offs, Mirror card and Embossing powder.
Distress oxide in Hickory Smoke
Neenah card stock 80lb
6 x 6 card blank.

Method

Place the stencil on to the 6x6 card blank. Then blend over the stencil, with Distress Oxide.

Stamp sentiment randomly, in a medium grey ink.

Die cut out the heart die, in the copper mirror card stock.

I finished off the card with a few Nuvo drops, some copper peel off strips and sequins.

I then went on to make two other cards, changing the verse on one. Both using the same products.
I loved using copper wow embossing powder, on my sentiment. I become a huge rose gold/ copper fan this Christmas.

Thank you for popping over to the blog.
I'll be back next week with something different.

Happy Stamping
Jo

Adding Dimension To Your Cards using Liquid Applique, featuring Warm and Feather Hugs by MFT.

Well Hello There,
its that time of the week again. When I get to jump on the Bumbleberry blog.
What have I been up to in the craft room this week.
Well after the cute, Sweet Holiday Penguins.
I had to show case the even more cute owls,
in Warm and Feathered Hugs. By MFT

I wanted to create a texture to my snow, as one of the images is on a sleight. Then I remember that we used to use Liquid Applique or Fluffy Puffy Stuff as it is now renamed. You apply it to your card and activate it using your heat gun. As you heat it puffs. Leaving a very snow like affect.

I came up with two card as I got carried away in stamping and colouring.

Products
Stamps Warm and Feather hugs by MFT (linked above)
Memento Summer Sky ink and Tuxedo Black,(bumbleberrys)
Altenew Caribbean Sky Ink Cube (bumbleberrys)
Lawn Fawn Doe Ink Cube (bumbleberrys)
(any inks would work)
alcohol markers and pencils
Drift and Hills stencil by MFT (bumbleberrys)
Liquid Applique (on Line)
Neenah 80 lb card Stock (bumbleberrys)
6 inch Squared card blank

First I Stamped and Coloured my images.

Then I prepared my card blank by creating snow hills.

I then used the Altenew ink, to add the snow flake images and Sentiment.

I then add the tree's with Lawn Fawn Doe ink cube.

I added my images that had been die cut.

Then I added the Liquid Applique to build up the snow, then heat it to get it to puff up.
The Heat activates the product. As I mentioned at the top of this post. Great fun little addition to your crafty stash at this time of year.

Thank you for popping over
Happy Crafting
