Exciting News!!!!! And More.............

Hi There, Well this year seems to be continuing to be off to an amazing start. After I received an email, from a lovely lady, whom is the owner of Bumbleberry Papercrafts.( www.bumbleberrys.co.uk) After applying to be on her Design Team, i had forgotten and cracked on with the day to day running of Daisy d's, not giving it much more thought. Imagine my surprise to be offer the job, as a design team member. Ego boast to be honest, wasn't sure if little old me could be, up to scratch. Anyway enough waffling, I received some amazing Avery Elle stamps to play with. I am a huge fan of stamps from the USA, of course I buy British. But after nearly 15 years in the industry, I have started looking for more choice and trendy stamps. Without trying to upset anyone, I have to say, the states have the edge on this. The fact we can now get our hands on them, without the huge shipping fees is a plus in my world. Also you tube is filled with so many amazing videos of pure class acts, from our brothers and sisters over the pond. Well here it go's my first Step by Step, please be gentle. https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/collections/new-releases/products/fruit-stand-stamp https://www.bumbleberrys.co.uk/collections/new-releases/products/carousel-stamp You will need Stamps, Patterned Paper, Circle dies,Versa Mark,Embossing Powder,Nuvo Drops or similar, Markers. 1. First I covered a 6x6 inch card blank with paper. 2. Then Die Cut a circle. To make a window and used another di cut circle to go on the inside of the card blank. 3. Then stamped out images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad.
4. I then using a light box, turned over the image and traced the horse image so it was on both sides of the card.
5. I then fussy cut out the image.
6. Using alcohol markers I colored in image Sectrium Noirs (LV1, LV2, LV3, and GT1. also using a gold uni-ball signo pen. 7. I then attached it to the card using gold thread.
8. I then stamped stars from stamps and embossed in gold embossing powder. and finished with Nuvo drops in matching colors to the papers.Sweet Lilac, Crushed Grapes and Bright gold. Phew, that wasn't as bad as imagined, I will upload another step by step very soon. God Bless and Don't forget to check out Bumbleberrys, website for some amazing products. Also supporting small business in the UK. Jo xxx

  1. This is beautiful, Jo and congratulations on joining the team! As much as I love supporting British companies, there just isn't enough British stamp companies about, almost all of the big brands are based in the US, thankfully we can get those products a bit easier now! :) xx
