Good Morning All,
Things seem to be slowly going back to normal, with the shops reopening and thing coming over from america. So we can start to see the new releases, that Katrina has uploaded.
I as you know was so excited when My favorite Things release landed on our shores. Well in Bumbleberrys Shop.
Anyway enough chatting lets get on with today's card design's.
I have three examples today, to show why I love stencils so much.

All Cards
MFT Stencil Rectangle Trio
MFT Hello Beautiful Stamps (Later Release)
Versafine Black Onyx
Neenah 80lb Cardstock (cut to C6 Card front size)
Distress Oxides Inks
Card One- Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed,
Twisted Citroen.
Card Two - Tattered Rose,Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry.
Card Three -  Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon.
Various Nuvo and Enamel Dots and Sequins.
C6 Card Blanks

Method

Card One
Tape your piece of neenah cardstock to your stencil. Then starting with the Abandoned Coral blend the top of your rectangles, then on to Spiced Marmalade, then Mustard Seed, and finally Twisted Citroen.
Leave this to dry, then rub over with a anti static tool and stamp the beautiful word in Black onyx ink.
Then using clear emboss powder to emboss the word.
At the top of your card front stamp your sentiment.
Then I added Altenew Enamel Dots in Black. and a thin slither of MFT black and white paper from  Black and White basic's.

Card Two
This time I attached my card front to the stencil but used the stencil in a Horizontal position.
I blended the ink from lightest to darkest starting with Tattered rose. Once all blended I placed in to my Misti and lined up my sentiments.

I used an anti static tool to rub over the ink blended card front.

I then stamped in Versa Mark ink,on to each line,With a sentiment and then embossed it in Altenew Copper Embossing powder.
Added some rose gold sequins from Pretty, Pink, Posh.

I mounted the card front to the card blank and this card was finished.

Card Three
This example was made exactly the same as the other cards using a blue ink combination and using the stencil vertically.

I then, while the stencil was in place splatted water then white paint.
Added some Nuvo drops in Caribbean Ocean.
And stamped a little Hello from the stamp set and tiny hearts from a random little heart stamp on my desk.

I love using stencils as you can achieve such quick and simple results.

Baby Shark, Doo, doo, doo ....... Using the baby shark die.

Well Hello Crafty Friends, I'm very excited to bring you my card today. I have a two year old granddaughter, whom is obsessed with Baby Shark.
When I saw the latest release from My favorite Things I knew I had to have this die. I will be using it in other ways this month, but first of, I created this card for our Amelia.

Product

MFT Baby Shark Die
MFT Sharky Sentiments
MFT Make Waves Stencil or Ocean Motion Stencil
Gina K Inks Blue Lagoon Ink and Stencil Brush
Gina K Passionate Pink Card Stock
White Card Stock
Google Eyes
Action Wobbler
Red Alcohol Pen
6" x 6" Card Blank
Versafine Black Ink Pad
Little Gems

Method

Stamp your sentiment, on to your card blank, and let it dry or emboss in clear embossing powder.
Once dry bring in your stencil, I used an older MFT one, using a die based ink pad (Gina K Blue Lagoon). Blend over stencils a layer at a time to create sea background. sorry I forgot to  take an image of this.

So here's the fun bit, I cut the die of the shark and his mouth once in pink. and then I cut the teeth and mouth out of white card stock.so you have two mouth pieces pink and white.I then coloured were the mouth was going with a red alcohol pen.
I then cut the bottom of the pink mouth and the top off the white mouth and add the teeth before attaching it to the shark body. I then add googly eyes and two black dots for his nose.

Lastly I added a Action Wobbler, to give my shark movement, before attaching to my card.

Lastly I added a few Gem's
and our baby shark card is ready for Amelia's name.

Fathers Day or Masculine Themed Card Using A Modern Colour Palette.

Hello Crafty Friends,
I hope your well, and crafting your way through this difficult.
I am trying to work, with some colour theory at the moment. My favorite place to find, colour combinations at the moment is through Pinterest or Pattern Papers in my stash.
So after being inspired I came up with a beautiful masculine combination.

I love pulling inks from my collections and seeing how they work together.

Products

MFT You Float My Boat
MFT All About Dad Die Namic's

MFT All About Dad Stamps (optional) used for Happy Fathers Day Sentiment.

Gina K card Stock in Ocean Mist 6" x 6"

Gina K Ink pads,  Prickly Pear, Ocean Mist, In The Navy, and Stormy Sky.

Nuvo Gloss Drops In Caribbean Ocean

Lawn Fawn Vellum

Card Blank 7" x 7"
Neenah 80lb cardstock cut to 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"

Method

Taking you neenah cardstock start randomly, stamping out your boats in the navy ink colour.

Then start adding more images using different colours from your chosen combination.
It starts to come together like a pattered paper.

Cut your card stock in ocean mist,to 6 x 6 inches. Then mat it on to your card blank.

Then taking your stamped piece and mat over the ocean mist card stock.

Using the DAD die cut out once in ocean mist card stock and three times in white cardstock.( I use my watercolor scraps.)

Then using the negative card stock use to line up your letters and build them up so they become like a chip board embellishment.

Using a piece of vellum, lay on to the middle of your card and line up your letters.

Once you have attached them and let them dry for a minute or two. Turn them over and glue behind the letters to attach your vellum to the card front.

I place a acrylic block on the top to hold them in place for a stronger hold.

Once they are dry, carefully rip around the vellum.
Then add your nuvo drops.

Your card is now complete, I added a fathers day stamp but any sentiment would work.
